Grace Singer is a mother of two living in Santa Barbara, California. She is a certified yoga instructor and massage practitioner, with a special interest in craniosacral therapy. Her work centers on embodiment, postpartum recovery, early childhood development, and practical nourishment during pregnancy and early motherhood.

Grace holds a B.S. in Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology from California State University, Monterey Bay, and two A.A degrees in chemistry and biology. Her academic background informs her evidence-based approach to topics like baby nutrition, immune support, and family wellness.

While in college, she worked in the science department at KQED San Francisco, researching and writing for online science media. That foundation in research and communication continues to shape her work today.

Grace has loved writing since childhood, but motherhood gave it a renewed clarity and urgency. She is also an artist, songwriter, and an avid reader.

The Beautiful Baby is where she shares grounded, experience-based guidance for motherhood and family life, blending lived experience, thoughtful research, and a deep respect for the developing nervous system.

How The Beautiful Baby Began

Motherhood often becomes louder and more complicated than it needs to be. As I adjusted to caring for two young children, I searched for grounded, research-informed guidance that felt calm, practical, and sustainable. The Beautiful Baby grew from that search, and from a desire to integrate what I was learning with the daily realities of raising a family.

I felt compelled to share simple, steady approaches to raising babies, supporting mothers postpartum, and building everyday rhythms that support long-term health.
